I ask myself this question a lot after I take long naps in the day time and wake up right before bed time. I end up wasting away precious hours watching random videos on YouTube or keep clicking in between “Top News” and “Most Recent” on Facebook, hoping something interesting will show up from people I don’t really talk to anyway. So what could I be doing instead? Well, I took my hands off my keyboard and mouse and put them in my lap, closed my eyes, and thought about the things I wanted to do with my life. Here are the things that popped into my mind:
1. I want to help people
2. I want God to be proud of me
3. I want to get out of debt
4. I want to write a really phresh blog
By having this list, I spent time researching* ways I can do those things. Something caught my attention that blogger Jonathan Acuff said: “The most expensive possession that a person own is time”. We only get twenty four hours and that’s not even guaranteed, so what we do with this time is very important. Why not spend it on doing something you love to do?
